Johann Gramann or Graumann (5 July 1487, Neustadt an der Aisch, Franken - 29 April 1541, Königsberg, then in Prussia) was a Protestant-Lutheran pastor, theologian, teacher, humanist, reformer and leader of the church. He worked as rector of the Thomasschule in Leipzig. His pen name was Johannes Poliander and several of his hymn texts were used by JS Bach.
